I began recording genealogy at 13 by writing down my grandmother's stories. Since then, I've collected a lot of information--all without preformatted record sheets or computers to store it. For me, copying and recopying the information by hand is an exercise in remembering.

Don't wait until you have the "right" record sheets or the "best" computer program--start now, and continue using the method that works for you!
