Here's this month's featured tip:


When researching a person, say "Cornelia Liandra de Guadalupe García", and she does not show up on a computerized list (IGI, Ancestral File), try typing in the name "Maria" first for women and "Jose" for men. Most all christening names began with "Maria" and "Jose". Most marriage certificates will omit the fist names, since people did not use them during their life.
